Brazilian renewable energy company Elera Renovaveis has announced a significant agreement to supply 48 MW of electricity to sanitation firm BRK.
The power will be sourced from Elera's 1.2-GWp Janauba solar complex, with delivery scheduled from 2025 to 2039.
This arrangement, based on a self-production model by equivalence, allows BRK to become a stakeholder in the solar facility, ensuring exclusive energy production for its operational needs.
Elera, a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management Inc, has previously established a similar 15-year power purchase agreement with Igua Saneamento, further solidifying its role in Brazil's expanding renewable energy landscape.
