RIC Development LLC (RIC Energy) and investment firm Rosemawr Management have announced a partnership to fund interconnection deposits for the deployment of up to 450 MW of solar and energy storage projects across New York.
This collaboration will assist in advancing the projects through the NYISO interconnection queue, enabling RIC Energy to grow its portfolio and increase access to affordable, clean energy for local communities.
The partners aim to implement the new capacities over the next three years. Jonathan Rappe, CEO of RIC Energy North America, said, “We are pleased to secure this partnership with Rosemawr to support building out the power grid in Upstate New York.”
RIC Energy, founded in 2005 in Spain, develops and owns solar, hydrogen, wind, biogas, and battery storage projects. Rosemawr, established in 2008, has over USD 1 billion in assets under management, with a portfolio that includes investments in solar, wind, energy storage, and energy efficiency assets across the US.
