Greek Ministry Approves 303.7 MW Solar Complex in Central Macedonia

's Ministry of Environment and Energy has authorized the development of a 303.7 MWp park complex in , as reported by domestic news portal Newmoney.

The project, spearheaded by SVS Group—a Greek company majority-owned by Green Investments MAE—will encompass 18 solar plants in Melenikitsi village, Serres.

Situated away from protected areas like national forests and wetlands, the complex will feature 532,871 monocrystalline, double-sided silicon solar panels manufactured by China's Technology Co Ltd, each capable of generating 570 Watts. The installation will also include 1,5078 inverters supplied by Technologies Co Ltd.

Alongside enhancing Greece's renewable energy capacity, the project involves constructing a new 400 kV double-circuit overhead transmission line spanning 680 meters (2,230 feet).
