Nordex Group has secured a 56MW order from Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH for the Wippershainer Höhe wind farm near Bad Hersfeld in the state of Hesse.
Nordex said the contract covers the supply and installation of eight N163/6.X turbines mounted on 164-metre hybrid towers. The agreement also includes a 20-year Premium Full Service contract aimed at ensuring long-term availability and performance.
Installation of the first turbine is scheduled for summer 2027, with commissioning of the project planned by the end of 2027, the company said.
The Wippershainer Höhe development is part of Qualitas Energy’s German portfolio, which comprises more than 100 projects with a combined capacity exceeding 3GW.
