Iberdrola SA has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Italian steel products manufacturer Acciaierie Venete SpA, under which the Spanish utility will provide 230 GWh of solar power from a 12-MW photovoltaic park currently under construction in Italy. The deal will help Acciaierie Venete reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6,960 tonnes.
