Brazilian state-run oil and gas company Petrobras plans to invest BRL 60 million (USD 10.5 million/EUR 9.7 million) in the second phase of a sea wind testing and measuring initiative. The investment will support the deployment of new Bravo floating Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) buoy units designed to collect and analyze offshore wind resources.
