Innova Secures Planning Permission for 13 MW Solar Farm in Gloucestershire

British renewable energy company has received planning approval for the Welsh Way Farm project in Gloucestershire, South West , which is expected to provide power for approximately 2,700 homes.

The Cotswold District Council granted the go-ahead for the solar farm, which will be located near Fairford.

Spanning 19.8 hectares, the Welsh Way Solar Farm aims to achieve a capacity of 13 MWp and will be integrated into Innova's distribution network operator (DNO) pipeline.

The project is projected to be completed by 2026, marking a significant step forward in expanding renewable energy in the region.
