Windward Offshore Forms Joint Venture with Stodig Ship Management for CSOV Operations

Windward has entered into a joint venture with Stodig Ship Management to oversee the technical and crew operations of its commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs). This partnership, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), represents a significant milestone for , aimed at ensuring “operational excellence and first-class service” aboard its vessels, which are vital to supporting the offshore wind industry.

Based in , the new collaboration will provide comprehensive technical and crew management services for Windward Offshore's fleet of four CSOVs. The first two vessels are currently under construction in Romania and Norway, while the remaining two are being built in . All vessels will utilize the Vard 4 19 design and feature battery hybrid technology, with preparations for future operation on green methanol.

The first is set to be delivered in the latter half of 2025, followed by the remaining three in 2026. After assessing multiple potential partners, Windward Offshore chose Stodig for its agility, extensive experience, and proven track record in managing similar vessels.
