OX2 AB Appoints Roshan Saldanha as New CFO

Swedish renewables developer AB has announced the appointment of as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective April 2025.

This decision follows the planned departure of incumbent CFO . Saldanha will take charge of the company's financial affairs and become a key member of its leadership team.

With nearly 25 years of financial experience across various industries and publicly listed companies, Saldanha is currently the CFO of Sinch, a global cloud communications platform, a position he has held since March 2019. Prior to that, he served in multiple leadership roles at telecommunications group Tele2.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Saldanha stated, “I'm excited to join OX2 at this pivotal moment. The company is entering a new stage as a company in the EQT portfolio with the ambition to transform to an independent power producer,” highlighting OX2's potential to lead in the energy transition.

OX2 currently boasts a total portfolio of approximately 47 GW. In May, the company received a buyout offer from private equity firm EQT AB, valued at SEK 16.35 billion (USD 1.58 billion/EUR 1.44 billion).

Additionally, the Nasdaq Stockholm recently approved OX2's application for delisting, with October 21 set as the final trading day for its stock.
