EDP Renewables (EDPR) has signed an agreement with Amundi Energy Transition (AET) to sell a 121-megawatt (MW) portfolio of operational onshore wind projects located in France and Belgium.
Under the terms of the deal, EDPR will divest its entire stake in the portfolio to several companies managed by AET. The transaction carries an estimated enterprise value of €200 million, the company said in a statement.
The portfolio includes 12 wind farms—11 in France and one in Belgium—all of which have been in commercial operation for approximately five years.
“EDPR has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Amundi Energy Transition for the sale of a 121 MW wind portfolio,” the company said.
The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, with financial completion expected in 2025. The transaction is part of EDPR’s asset rotation strategy aimed at recycling capital to fund new renewable energy developments.
