Kent Secures Framework to Support UK Floating Wind Projects

Engineering firm has been selected by BlueFloat Energy and Nadara to provide multi-disciplinary support for their portfolio of projects in the UK. The partnership follows more than a year of collaboration and a competitive tender process, culminating in a framework agreement to assist the development of the consortium's sites.

Kent will deliver engineering and consultancy services from its offices in Scotland, aligning with the partnership's focus on boosting local involvement and advancing opportunities in the UK sector.

Cerianne Cummings, Head of Wind at Kent, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are proud to be working with BlueFloat Energy/Nadara Partnership and bring our floating wind expertise to these groundbreaking projects,” she said. “With our strong presence in Scotland and the south-west, we are ideally positioned to support the delivery of their ambitious UK plans.”
