Atlas Renewable Energy has secured a ten-year agreement to supply solar power to Rivelli, a poultry producer based in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Under the deal, Atlas will deliver 5.5 average megawatts (MWa) of solar energy, covering 100% of the electricity needs for five of Rivelli's manufacturing plants by 2026.
The electricity will be sourced from Atlas' 580-MWp Draco Solar Complex, which operates under a consortium model.
This model allows multiple companies, including other off-takers like the Primavera Saude hospital network, to share a single energy infrastructure.
Fabio Bortoluzo, Country Manager of Atlas Renewable Energy in Brazil, stated, “This partnership represents another important step toward our mission of supporting diverse sectors within the Brazilian economy with tailored energy solutions.”
