Statera Energy has been granted planning permission for a 400-MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in Dorset, England, the company announced on Friday. The approval from Dorset Council will facilitate the construction of a facility capable of delivering up to six hours of dispatchable power. Located near Chickerell and adjacent to an existing National Grid
