SSE Renewables has chosen Vestas as the turbine supplier for its Aberarder Wind Farm in the Scottish Highlands, the company announced on Monday. Under the agreement, Vestas will supply and install twelve V117-4.2 MW turbines, operating in 4.3MW mode, at the Aberarder site near Inverness in Strathnairn.
