Spanish EPC Contractor Enerland Completes 14.3 MW Solar Farm in Colombia

Spanish solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor has achieved the successful construction of a 14.3 MWp solar farm in named Caiman Cienaguero.

The project, commissioned in November 2023, was executed for , a French provider of renewable energy solutions.

The Caiman Cienaguero solar farm involved the installation of 22,000 solar panels on a 20-hectare (49.4 acres) site, and the construction phase was completed within a six-month timeframe. The facility is anticipated to generate 26.4 MWh of electricity annually, contributing to the region's renewable energy capacity.

This marks Enerland's fourth completed solar park project in Colombia, adding to the commissioning of La Tolua and Tierra Linda in the previous year, along with Canal del Dique in 2021.
