Germany-based renewable energy developer PNE has sold a portfolio of six onshore wind projects with a combined capacity of around 91 megawatts to Qualitas Energy Deutschland, the companies said.
The transaction was completed shortly before the end of 2025 and includes projects at various stages of development across several German states, according to PNE. Financial details were not disclosed.
Qualitas Energy said the acquisition builds on its existing cooperation with PNE and aligns with its long-term expansion plans in the German renewable energy market.
“We are delighted to hand over this wind farm portfolio to Qualitas Energy,” Roland Stanze, chief operating officer of PNE AG, said in a statement. “When selecting investors, we always ensure that they not only share our high quality standards, but also our vision of transparent communication on an equal footing with owners, citizens and authorities alike.”
Three of the projects will be transferred on a turnkey basis while under construction. These include the 6-MW Helenenberg wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate, the 27.8-MW Welsche Lied project in Hesse, and the 6.8-MW Zinndorf scheme in Brandenburg.
The remaining assets comprise development rights for the 4.2-MW Grosser Mittelberg project in Hesse, the 33-MW Herzhausen wind farm, and the 13.2-MW Odensachsen project.
Johannes Overbeck, chief executive of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH, said the mix of projects supports the group’s strategy of accelerating capacity additions. “The combination of projects at all stages of development underscores our strength in bringing new capacity online in the short term and actively shaping the energy transition in the long term,” he said.
