RWE has officially commissioned its first wind power facility in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate with the completion of the 12-megawatt Kail wind farm. Located on the Moselle plateau approximately 50 kilometres south-west of Koblenz, the three-turbine project was developed over a 12-month period and is expected to supply renewable electricity to around 7,500 households
