Dutch energy storage provider SemperPower has rebranded and will now operate under the name of its parent company, Return. The move is aimed at strengthening Return's position as a key player in the green energy sector, with particular emphasis on large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Return's CEO, Willem-Jan Schutte, described the rebranding as a “strategic step forward” in the company's commitment to leading innovation in energy storage. He added, “With this transition, we are laying the foundation for an independent, sustainable energy infrastructure in Europe.”
Schutte further emphasized that the unification of the two entities will accelerate the energy transition and help ensure that “no green energy is lost.”
The rebranding is expected to help streamline operations as Return expands its presence across Europe, with offices now established in four countries. The company aims to play a pivotal role in advancing the energy transition and enhancing storage solutions for renewable energy across the continent.
