Interocean Secures Four-Year Extension with Vattenfall for Offshore Wind Services

Glasgow-based support provider Marine Services has secured a four-year extension to its frame agreement with multinational energy company , expanding its role in supporting offshore wind projects.

The extended contract introduces Interocean's remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspection services to maintain Below Water Balance of Plant (BOP) systems at Vattenfall's Thanet, Kentish Flats, and Kentish Flats Extension wind farms. This builds on Interocean's existing work at the Aberdeen and Ormonde offshore wind farms.

Alex Clark, Interocean's chief commercial officer, described the extension as a milestone in the company's partnership with Vattenfall. “Following five years of successful collaboration, this contract expansion reflects the exceptional standards our team consistently delivers in inspection, survey, and maintenance services,” Clark stated.

Interocean offers a broad suite of services to the offshore wind sector, spanning design, analysis, installation, and operational support. Headquartered in Glasgow, the company operates internationally with offices in the UK, , Dubai, and .
