EDP Renewables North America LLC has partnered with Arizona-based utility Salt River Project (SRP) to develop a 200-MW/800-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Arizona. The project, named Flatland Energy Storage, is set to be operational by 2025. It will be located near Coolidge, adjacent to the recently completed 200-MW Brittlebush Solar Park. The Flatland
