Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured an order for a 50MW wind power project in Sacele, Constanta County, Romania, through a contract with Eolenerg Project SRL.
The order comprises three V150-4.0MW turbines and nine V150-4.2MW turbines, and includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement to ensure optimal turbine performance.
Delivery of the turbines is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2025, with the project aiming for commissioning in the fourth quarter.
This project highlights Vestas' continued presence in Romania and its support for the region's renewable energy goals.
