Welsh Ministers have given the green light to EDF Renewables UK’s 85MW Garn Fach wind and battery project, located south of Newtown in Mid Wales. The development will feature 17 wind turbines and an energy storage facility to help manage the integration of renewable energy into the national grid. Jon O’Sullivan, Director for Onshore Wind
