OEG Energy Group has appointed Ricardo Rosa as non-executive chairman. Rosa, who previously served as chief financial officer at Subsea7 for nine years until 2021, brings extensive experience from senior roles in the energy sector, including leadership positions at Transocean and Schlumberger.
Commenting on the appointment, OEG CEO John Heiton said, “The appointment of Ricardo as our new chairman reflects OEG's status as an established player in the offshore industries. He brings a wealth of experience from his years of senior roles within leading brands such as Subsea7, Transocean, and SLB, and we look forward to benefitting from his insights regarding our industries and the global capital markets.”
Rosa expressed his enthusiasm for joining OEG, stating, “OEG has a rich offshore heritage dating back 50 years, and I am delighted to be joining the Group at this exciting stage of its growth journey… I look forward to working with the Board to support the Group on the next phase of its growth trajectory.”
Rosa succeeds David Currie, who oversaw a transformative period for OEG.
