Israeli independent power producer Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd  has successfully connected its 50-MW/102-MWh Swangate battery energy storage system (BESS) to the grid in Yorkshire, UK. The company announced that phased electricity transmission has commenced, with full transmission expected in the coming weeks.
