GP JOULE Commissions 54 MW Solar Park in Saxony, Germany

Energy solutions company GmbH has successfully commissioned a park with a capacity of approximately 54 megawatts peak (MWp) in Saxony, eastern . The facility was developed in collaboration with Solarparc Kleinschirma GmbH & Co KG, part of the Solarparc group.

The Kleinschirma solar park is expected to generate around 60,500 megawatt-hours of annually, enough to supply approximately 18,500 households. The plant features a total of 93,600 solar modules.

During the construction phase, GP JOULE worked alongside Ecotec, a solar energy company, and civil engineering firms Kuke and Baumaschinen-Dienstleistungs GmbH. Solarparc managed all development services, from pre-financing to the commencement of construction.

This project follows GP JOULE's successful commissioning in April of an 83 MW solar park in East Frisia, a region in northwestern Germany.
