Rovco Secures First UXO Project in Germany for Iberdrola’s Windanker Wind Farm

has been awarded a contract by to address unexploded ordnance (UXO) at the site of the Windanker wind farm in the Baltic Sea. This project marks Rovco's inaugural UXO operation in .

The project will employ 3D modeling and advanced inspection technologies to manage both UXO and non-UXO objects. Rovco's team will ensure that confirmed UXOs are safely relocated or disposed of and will conduct thorough inspections of cleared areas to detect any remaining anomalies.

The operation will utilize Rovco's newly chartered multipurpose , MV Patriot. The vessel features a spacious deck, an active heave crane, DP Class 2 station-keeping capabilities, and work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), enhancing site-to-shore communication and data processing efficiency, which in turn accelerates project timelines.
