Spanish clean energy solutions provider Grupo Greening 2022 SA has announced the sale of eight solar farms totaling 54.78 megawatts (MW) in southern Spain to Spanish-German solar power specialist Amperiosol Renewables SL.
The transaction, valued at EUR 47.93 million (USD 51.4 million), includes operational and under-construction plants, with completion expected by the second quarter of 2025, Grupo Greening stated on Monday.
The sale exceeds Grupo Greening's 2024 asset rotation target by 10%, generating a capital gain of EUR 205,000 per MW as outlined in its strategic plan.
The company plans to continue its asset rotation strategy, aiming to rotate 450 MW of wind farms in operation or nearing completion by 2026.
