has officially inaugurated the Arrow Canyon solar-plus-storage complex in Nevada, marking a significant addition to the region's landscape. The project, located within the Moapa Indian Reservation in Clark County, comprises a 275-MW DC (PV) park featuring 621,000 bifacial modules. Additionally, the facility includes a 75-MW energy storage component with a discharge duration of five hours, achieved through 564 battery units.

Under a 20-year power off-take agreement, the Arrow Canyon complex will supply electricity to local utility NV Energy. The solar farm's substantial output is projected to cover the annual consumption of 57,600 average homes in Nevada.

Construction of the Arrow Canyon project commenced in September 2021, with the solar park segment completed by the end of 2022. The battery storage unit was energized in early November 2023. 's asset optimization unit will oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the complex, providing essential services such as NERC compliance support, remote monitoring, and balance-of-plant management solutions.

The Arrow Canyon solar-plus-storage complex exemplifies EDF Renewables' commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions. The project's location within the Moapa Indian Reservation emphasizes the collaboration and integration of renewable energy initiatives with local communities. With a long-term power off-take agreement in place, the complex is poised to contribute significantly to Nevada's clean energy objectives and enhance the resilience of the local power grid.
