Sungrow, a prominent player in the energy storage sector, is set to supply a cutting-edge battery energy storage system (ESS) to Penso Power and BW ESS for their ambitious 100-megawatt (MW) and 330-megawatt-hour (MWh) energy storage project in Bramley, Hampshire, UK.
This project, expected to become operational in 2024, will play a crucial role in grid balancing, providing ancillary services, and engaging in wholesale energy trading.
Sungrow's contribution to the project includes its innovative PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled ESS, a technology that will make its debut in the United Kingdom.
