German offshore wind manufacturer Steelwind Nordenham said Korbinian Ott will become its commercial managing director on Jan. 1, 2026, joining Andreas Liessem under the company’s dual leadership model.
Ott has been with Steelwind since 2021 and most recently headed project management, where he was responsible for delivering offshore wind projects for international clients, the company said.
In his new role, Ott will oversee sales, project management and controlling, with a particular emphasis on digitalisation. Steelwind said the move is intended to strengthen its commercial and operational coordination as market conditions remain challenging.
Liessem will continue to be responsible for technical operations and human resources, the company added.
“The leadership aims to maintain quality, reliability and European value creation to support the energy transition,” Steelwind said in a statement.
The company did not provide further details on changes to its management structure or strategy.
