Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas has received a 74 megawatt (MW) order from German developers Prezeller Wind, Lanze-Lomitz Wind, and Eurowind Energy for two onshore wind projects in northern Germany.
The agreement includes the supply of 12 V162-6.2MW turbines from Vestas’ EnVentus platform for the Prezelle and Lanze-Lomitz sites. Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter.
The contract also includes a 20-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service agreement, which provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to optimise turbine performance.
Vestas confirmed the order will be included in its third-quarter intake for 2025. No financial terms were disclosed.
