Greenvolt Group has agreed to sell a 231-megawatt (MW) portfolio of wind and solar projects in Spain to Transiziona, a company owned by White Summit Capital, in a deal worth up to €195 million, the company said on Tuesday.
The transaction includes 28 projects at various stages of development and was executed through Greenvolt’s partnership with Green Mind Ventures. It comprises a forward sale of 145MW to commercial operation and an additional 86MW in early-stage greenfield projects.
“This transaction in Spain, which follows recent divestments in Poland, clearly demonstrates Greenvolt’s ability to develop large-scale renewable projects at various stages and across different technologies,” said João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group. “With these projects, we capitalise on our asset rotation strategy while continuing to build a robust project pipeline.”
Greenvolt said the sale is in line with its strategy to rotate 70–80% of large-scale assets once they reach ready-to-build or operational status.
Backed by private equity firm KKR, Greenvolt has now divested approximately €530 million in utility-scale assets so far in 2025, including €333 million in Poland announced earlier this year.
The company currently manages a 13.2 gigawatt (GW) development pipeline across 18 countries and aims to have at least 5.3GW ready to build by the end of the year.
