Constantine Energy Storage has appointed Habitat Energy to optimise three new transmission-connected battery energy storage systems in the UK. The projects, located near Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds, will each feature 57MW, 2.7-hour battery energy storage systems, collectively providing 171MW/462MWh of flexible capacity. All three assets are expected to be operational by the summer of 2025.
