SSE Starts Public Consultation for 60 MW Onshore Wind Farm in Northern Ireland

has launched the public consultation process for the proposed Tattymoyle Wind Farm, located in the Fermanagh and Omagh district of .

The project aims to install up to 10 turbines, with a maximum tip height of 180 meters (590 ft), and could generate enough electricity to power approximately 65,000 homes.

This will be SSE Renewables' first new wind project in Northern Ireland in several years. The company also noted that it is considering the possibility of adding a co-located battery energy storage system (BESS) to the site.

The consultation process will run until December 6, with the planning application expected to be submitted in the second quarter of 2025.
