Nordex Secures 100MW Turbine Order for Canadian Wind Project

Credit: Nordex

Nordex has secured a contract to supply 100MW of wind turbines for a project in , .

The order involves 19 of Nordex's N163/5.X turbines, each mounted on 125-meter tubular steel towers, with delivery scheduled for summer 2026.

To address the region's colder climate, the units will feature Nordex's cold climate variant and the Nordex Advanced Anti-icing System for rotor blades, helping reduce power losses and maintain high electricity production even in winter conditions.

The customer for the project, a Canadian wind farm developer and operator, has chosen these options to ensure consistent performance throughout the year.
