German electrolyser manufacturer has established a core partner agreement with Dutch energy company BV to supply electrolyser stacks for projects. Adsensys plans to utilize these stacks to build its own electrolyser systems in the megawatt range, specifically targeting a total electrolysis capacity of 10 MW for customers by 2026.

The facilities will be managed through Enapter's Energy Management System (EMS) software, which will be licensed to Adsensys as part of the partnership. Enapter anticipates generating its first revenue from the sale of stacks under this agreement in 2025.

In its recent financial report, Enapter revealed a net loss of €8 million ($8.61 million) for the first half of 2024, an improvement from a loss of €9.95 million in the same period last year. Notably, the company reported a five-fold increase in order intake, reaching €23.4 million in the first six months of the year, indicating a growing demand for its products and services.

Sebastian-Justus Schmidt, CEO of Adsensys, commented on the collaboration: “Especially in the transport sector, the potential for the use of is huge. We're pleased to be able to contribute directly to the decarbonisation of road transport with our application-agnostic technology. Our AEM Multicore technology in particular can efficiently and cost-effectively produce the desired quantities of green hydrogen on a large scale on site. This allows the energy from and wind power to be stored for later use.”
