Sunwoda Energy and Gryphon Energy to Develop 1.6-GWh Energy Storage Project in Queensland

Sunwoda Energy and have formed a partnership to implement a 1.6-GWh grid-connected project in , , set to become operational in 2026.

This facility will utilize Sunwoda's innovative NoahX 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system, featuring the company's proprietary 314Ah cells and Reverse DC Coupling technology.

The agreement was finalized at the All-Energy Australia 2024 event, reflecting Sunwoda's strategy to enhance its international footprint, with Australia as a key market.

Earlier this year, the China-based company successfully launched a 5-MW/11-MWh energy storage system as part of a solar-storage demonstration plant in , marking a significant step in its global expansion efforts.
