EDP Renewables SA has finalized the sale of a 240-MW renewable energy portfolio in Poland to Orlen Wind 3, a subsidiary of oil refiner Orlen SA.
The transaction, announced on Wednesday, has an enterprise value of PLN 1.15 billion (approximately USD 285 million or EUR 264.7 million).
The portfolio includes three solar projects with a combined capacity of 214 MW (280 MW in direct current) and one wind project with a capacity of 26 MW.
This sale contributes to EDPR's strategy, as the company has secured over EUR 1.5 billion (USD 1.6 billion) in asset rotation proceeds across four different markets this year.
Since 2012, EDPR has executed more than EUR 20 billion in asset divestments, reinforcing its position in the renewable energy sector.
