Independent power producer (IPP) Serengeti Energy has announced plans to develop a 50-MWp solar farm in northern Côte d'Ivoire, marking its first venture in the West African nation. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Energy of Côte d'Ivoire, and a kick-off meeting with key stakeholders is expected soon.
