Energiekontor Commissions 33.6 MW Scottish Wind Park Supplying Sainsbury’s

German renewable energy developer AG has announced the completion of a 33.6 MW wind park in the Scottish Borders.

The facility, owned by private asset manager , was acquired in 2022 and is now fully operational.

The wind park, named Scottish Pines Burn, features seven N133 turbines, each with a 4.8 MW capacity, an 83-meter hub height, and a 133-meter rotor diameter.

It is expected to generate 92 GWh of electricity annually, providing approximately 8% of the energy needs for UK supermarket chain 's, which entered into a in 2022.

Energiekontor, which developed the project and managed its construction, will oversee the operational management of the facility.
