German developer Viridi RE Group has announced the sale of a 116-MWp portfolio of solar projects in Spain to Swiss power producer and energy trader Axpo Holding AG.
The portfolio includes the 65-MWp Agata project and the 51-MWp Zafiro project, both located in the Cordoba province of southern Spain. Specific financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Viridi RE has been active in Spain since 2006, specializing in the development and construction of photovoltaic projects. The company has completed or is in the process of building 115 plants with a total capacity of 33.8 MWp in the country.
Additionally, Viridi RE maintains a development pipeline of 18 projects across various stages, representing a potential capacity of 1,867 MWp.
