Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S announced on Wednesday that it has secured a 137-MW order from Exus Management Partners for two repowering projects in the United States.
The contract encompasses the Highland North and Highland Cambria repower projects, for which Vestas will supply its V120-2.2 MW turbines. The delivery of these turbines is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.
Additionally, the order includes a 20-year service agreement, reinforcing the long-term partnership between the two companies.
Exus Management Partners previously announced the acquisition of a 306-MW wind portfolio in Pennsylvania in March, stating that four of its wind farms would be repowered by 2027. In July, the company initiated the repowering of the 139-MW Twin Ridges wind farm in Pennsylvania, again collaborating with Vestas.
