Israeli firm Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd has fully launched its 254-MW Solar and Storage Cluster, which also includes a storage capacity of 594 MWh.
The cluster, consisting of 12 installations across northern and southern Israel, is now operational, providing more than 50% of the clean electricity in Israel's deregulated power market.
The cluster, which began partial commercial operations in 2023, reached full grid connection in 2024. Enlight sells the electricity generated directly to industrial clients such as Soda Stream and Applied Materials through its supplier division, as well as to households and small businesses via joint venture Electra Power.
The project is projected to generate between USD 34 million and USD 36 million in revenue and EBITDA of USD 24 million to USD 26 million during its first full year of operation.
Enlight, founded in 2008, operates renewable energy projects globally, including in Israel, the USA, and several European countries.
