Alerion Clean Power’s subsidiary, Generai, has entered into a turbine supply agreement with Beijing-based manufacturer Goldwind for a 29.4MW wind farm project in Italy’s southern province of Foggia.
Under the contract, Goldwind will provide seven GW155-4.2 turbines for the project.
In addition to the turbine supply, the companies have agreed on a medium-term operations and maintenance contract.
Construction of the wind farm is set to begin soon, with commercial operations expected to commence in the second half of 2025. The project marks a continued expansion of renewable energy infrastructure in Italy.
