Dall Energy Acquires Weiss France Energie to Support Green Energy Goals

, a Danish and pyrolysis technology company, has completed the of , a leading biomass technology provider, along with its subsidiary Biomasse Services et Maintenance (BSM). The acquisition, made from Groupe Roullier, aims to enhance Dall Energy's presence in the French market and contribute to the country's green energy transition.

Dall Energy stated that the acquisition aligns with its goal of becoming a key player in biomass technology in France, particularly in the district heating and processing industries. “We are thrilled about this acquisition. Weiss is a local, leading energy-technology provider, and our technologies complement each other,” said Jens Bentzen, CEO of Dall Energy.

Weiss managing director Frédéric Autret expressed optimism about the merger, adding that it would provide a more complete technological offering for bioenergy recovery. “Our teams will be keen to provide the new group with the sense of service and professionalism that characterizes both Weiss and BSM,” Autret said.

Both Dall Energy and Weiss focus on biomass technologies, including dry and wet biomass sources, and offer plant solutions and maintenance services. Dall Energy, with investment support from Eiffel IG, plans to continue advancing energy efficiency and replacing fossil fuels, initially in France but with potential expansion across the EU.

Dall Energy's CEO noted that a Post Merger Integration (PMI) process is planned for later this year to optimize synergies between the companies. Thibault Vanpeene, investments director at Eiffel IG, added, “This is likely just the first acquisition aimed at enhancing Dall Energy's reach.”
