Skyborn Renewables Acquires 50% Stake in Orsted’s Revolution Wind

Global Infrastructure Partners' (GIP) has acquired a 50% ownership stake in 's 704 megawatt (MW) Revolution Wind project, which is currently under construction off the coast of Connecticut and . The acquisition involves taking over the share previously owned by Eversource Energy.

In addition to Revolution Wind, Skyborn will also gain 50% ownership of the already-commissioned 132 MW South Fork Wind project.

, Group Executive Vice President and CEO Americas at Orsted, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We're excited for our new partnership with Global Infrastructure Partners and Skyborn on South Fork Wind and Revolution Wind, two projects that are historic as well as central to America's energy priorities.”
