Cadeler has signed a Vessel Reservation Agreement (VRA) for a pipeline of wind projects in the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement guarantees the availability of one of Cadeler's advanced M-Class vessels and highlights the company's ongoing expansion in the region. The total potential value of the projects under the VRA is expected to be approximately €200 million.
The wind projects will meet the energy needs of around 1.36 million households once fully operational. The M-Class vessel designated for these projects is part of Cadeler's growing fleet of newbuilds, with six more vessels expected to join in the coming years. This follows the recent delivery of the Wind Peak.
“The Asia-Pacific market has significant growth potential and is of great interest to Cadeler,” said Cadeler CEO Mikkel Gleerup. “Expanding our presence in that market with this VRA aligns with our global business strategy. With our first state-of-the-art newbuild received, and six additional newbuilds being delivered over the coming years, we will be able to handle the largest and most complex next-generation offshore wind installation projects.”
He added that these advancements will further build Cadeler's backlog, ensuring customers and partners can rely on the company for flexibility and supply-chain certainty.
