Chinese solar technology firm LONGi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd has partnered with Solar Electric Vietnam JSC (SEV) to complete an 11-MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project for Vietnamese garment manufacturer Tan De Company.

The project, finalized in September, covers nine of Tan De’s factories and features LONGi’s Hi-MO X6 modules equipped with anti-dust technology.

The solar arrays are expected to generate 12,603 MWh annually, enabling Tan De to meet international green manufacturing standards, LONGi announced on Thursday.

Highlighting the project’s durability, Duong Vu, deputy head of SEV’s Technical Department, remarked, “The systems remained undamaged during the Yagi typhoon that struck northern Vietnam earlier in September,” showcasing the resilience of the installations.
