Austrian renewable energy company Oekostrom AG has purchased a portfolio of wind farms in Germany with a total capacity of 10 MW from German renewables developer and investor Reconcept GmbH.
The wind parks, commissioned between 2014 and 2019, produced 20 GWh of electricity in 2023, powering approximately 6,000 households.
Oekostrom views Germany as a key market with significant potential for growth. “We see great potential not only in acquiring existing installations but also in developing new wind power projects,” said Oekostrom CEO Ulrich Streibl. “Our goal is to further drive the expansion of renewable energy in Germany and sustainably expand our portfolio.”
Reconcept, in its statement, emphasized that the transaction aligns with its strategy of focusing on renewable energy, presenting further opportunities for growth.
