Vestas has announced five new wind turbine orders, collectively amounting to 404 megawatts (MW), for projects across the Dominican Republic, Italy, Greece, France, and the United States. These orders are part of the company's third-quarter intake and feature a mix of turbine models tailored to different markets.
Among the disclosed projects, Vestas will supply Energia's Terzo di Banzi project in Italy with three V162-6.2MW and two V150-5.4MW turbines, under a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement. Delivery is slated for the last quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected in the first half of 2026.
The largest order is from an undisclosed customer in the United States, involving 56 V163-4.5MW turbines. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning set for the first quarter of 2027.
In the Dominican Republic, Vestas has secured an order for 11 V163-4.5MW turbines, which also includes a 20-year service agreement. Delivery and commissioning are anticipated by the end of 2025.
For the Greek market, Vestas will produce six V150-4.5MW turbines, with delivery planned for the second quarter of 2025 and commissioning in the third quarter of the same year.
Additionally, Vestas will deliver 21 V110-2.2MW turbines to an undisclosed customer in France, with both delivery and commissioning expected in the second half of 2025.
